Plaza Market 2011
New Exhibit at Galeria Tonantzin, featuring the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association, which I just joined. Reception today, August 7. Come join the festivities. This piece was inspired by the simplicity of form, arrangement of spacial areas and fauve style colors of Henri Matisse, since viewing many of his works at the SFMOMA the day before. I also fell in love with a new color from my acrylic paints called “Indain Yellow.” To see it in person drop by the Galeria.
